My Prep Center Obligations for Shipped Inventory
My Prep Center agrees to receive and inspect your inventory within 24-48 hours of delivery at our facility and to notify you in a timely manner of any inconsistencies or discrepancies.
My Prep Center will store your invoices, packing slips, and waybills (if this documentation has been included with the shipment) on file and can provide you with the necessary documentation for you to work with your suppliers when items are missing and/or damaged.
If My Prep Center receives damaged items from a carrier, we will notify you and provide the necessary documentation to you for you to resolve the issue with your supplier. If the item needs to be returned to the supplier for any reason, My Prep Center will not be responsible for return shipping cost. My Prep Center can provide shipping estimates for your convenience. Storage fees may apply after 14 days.
Occasionally, items may be missing from your shipments that will prevent us from completing the number of bundles that you ordered. When this occurs, we will process as many of your units/bundles as we can complete and notify you via the Google drive documentation of the missing items. This will allow as much of your inventory to be shipped to Amazon as quickly as possible. (Note: Only received items will be eligible for the 24-48 hour shipments). We will hold the remaining units (for 14 days) until the missing units arrive. After 14 days, storage fees will apply to any remaining inventory at our warehouse.
Upon receipt of inventory, My Prep Center agrees to package your inventory in accordance with Amazon Packaging Guidelines. This includes poly bagging, bubble wrapping, labeling, and removal of unnecessary sticker(s).
My Prep Center agrees to have inventory ready to ship to Amazon within 24-48 hours of being received at our facility (Monday through Friday).
My Prep Center Billing and Invoicing
My Prep Center will prep any number of units for shipment to Amazon, however our minimum invoice will be for 50 units. Any units below the minimum 50 will be billed at the individual unit rate to achieve the 50 unit minimum. Example: If My Prep Center ships 36 shoes for you, your invoice will be for 36 shoes (billed at $1.75) + 14 individual units [billed at $1.25)(50 unit minimum minus 36 shipped units)].
My Prep Center requires a credit card on file to bill upon completion of the shipment. My Prep Center will not ship the inventory to Amazon until the invoice has been paid.
In the event that the customer has failed to pay an existing invoice, any future received inventory will not be processed until the invoice has been paid.
At the discretion of My Prep Center, if the customer fails to pay invoices in a timely manner, than My Prep Center will hold any/all inventories until payment is received and may require prepayment to fulfill future FBA packaging.
My Prep Center Storage Policy and Invoicing
Storage for 14 days is FREE. Beyond 14 days, storage is billed at 3 different increments (billed monthly):
- $5.00 per tub (18” x 13” x 12”)
- $20.00 per shelf (72” x 24” x 21”)
- $40.00 per pallet (48” x 40” x 72”)
Billing for storage will occur monthly and will be invoiced at the time the shipment is sent. If no shipment is sent, then billing will be done on/or around the 1st of each month.
Customer Obligations for Shipped Inventory
Customer agrees to provide us documentation of expected inventory via our Customer Inventory sheet on Google drive, prior to inventory arriving at our facility. This is required so that we can inspect the inventory when it arrives and provide timely updates regarding any discrepancies in the inventory. Any items not included on the google drive will not be shipped to Amazon.
In the event of accidental orders or damaged items that require shipment to any location other than Amazon’s warehouse for fulfillment, the customer is responsible for any return shipping costs. My Prep Center will ship/return the items to the supplier, however the customer will be responsible for providing shipping labels to the supplier. My Prep Center can provide shipping estimates for your convenience.
Customers agree to provide item/bundle specific documentation regarding packaging instructions for their unique items. This documentation is necessary for any items that require additional processing, beyond the Amazon specific guidelines. This information is necessary to ensure your items are packaged in accordance with your expectations.
Customer understands that failure to provide this documentation will have a direct impact on My Prep Centers ability to process items and therefore the 24-48 hour window will not be honored until the documentation has been provided.
Prior to shipping to Amazon, the customer agrees to pay an invoice for services rendered. Failure to pay the invoice in a timely manner will cause My Prep Center to hold any/all inventory until payment is received and may require future packaging to be prepaid prior to work being started.
